Once initial interviews have been conducted and your needs have been assessed, the SBDC consultant may consult other resources. The Business Development Centers have libraries that contain information on specific issues such as taxes, international trade, licensing, patents and trademarks, financing and more. The SBDC also co-sponsors the Indiana Business Fax-on-Demand System. The 24-hour fax-back information system currently has over 1,000 business-related documents and forms available to anyone in Indiana via touch-tone phone and fax. Call the toll-free number, 1-800-726-8000, to receive a fax catalog of available documents.
For more information about starting, financing and managing your own business, the United States Small Business Administration site (www.sba.gov) is a great resource.
