Murdock Park - 18th and Ferry Streets. Playgrounds, disc golf course, sled run, basketball court, lighted softball field, 0.9 mile interpretive trail, picnic areas and grills. Celery Bog/Lilly Nature Center - Lindberg Road. Contains four miles of trails through woods and along a marsh. Nature Center. 100 acres. Cumberland Park - At the corner of Kalberer Road and Salisbury Street. Contains 16 acres of Michaud-Sinninger Woods, nature preserve with a 0.4 mile hiking trail, 14 acres of soccer fields, two softball fields, and lighted basketball courts. 62 acres. Happy Hollow Park - Happy Hollow Road. Handicapped accessible playground equipment, six shelter houses, cookout facilities, restrooms, innertube run, softball and volleyball areas and over two miles of hiking trails. 81 acres. Mascouten Park - Along North River Road on the Wabash River near Happy Hollow Road. Public boat launch, picnic facilities. 18 acres. Northwest Greenway Trail - Morehouse Road area. Part compacted stone (0.8 mile) and part mowed grass surface (0.9 mile). Trail for off-road bicyclists and hikers. Tapawingo Park - On the Wabash River along Tapawingo Drive and Brown Street. Davis Ferry Park - Three miles north of Lafayette on N. 9th Street. Borders the Wabash River; offers a fishing bridge and boat launch. 13 acres. Fairfield Lakes - County Road 200 S. and 750 E. Four Ponds. 99 acres. Fort Ouiatenon Park - Three miles southwest of West Lafayette on South River Road. Goose Island Park - Eight miles southwest of Lafayette in the Wabash River; accessible only by boat. Nature preserve. 7.6 acres. Granville Park - Seven miles southwest of West Lafayette on South River Road. Boat ramp and parking lot provide access to the Wabash River. 14.6 acres. Heron Island Park - Eight miles northeast of Lafayette in the Wabash River; accessible only by boat. Nature preserve. 11 acres. Marlen Park - Three miles south of Lafayette on S. 18th Street. The park offers a shelter house, picnicking, hiking in 28 acres of woods, a lighted softball diamond, restrooms, and Wea Creek for fishing, wading and tubing. 29 acres. Ross Hills Park - Located approximately 12 miles south of West Lafayette on CR 875 W. Facilities include two picnic shelters, picnic areas, restrooms, trails, deck overlook, volleyball, softball and horseshoes. David Ross summer home. 168 acres. Tecumseh Trails Park - East side of SR 43 N., across from the Veterans' Home. Picnicking, shelter house and plenty of open space. 18 acres. Tippecanoe Battlefield Park - Seven miles north of Lafayette in Battle Ground. Historical museum with exhibits and gift shop, picnic area, Burnett’s Creek and restrooms. Wah-ba-shik-a Nature Center is open April to October. 765-567-2147. 96 acres. Wabash Heritage Trail - Hiking is available along the Wabash Heritage Trail. Currently open from the Tippecanoe Battlefield Park to south of the John T. Myers Bridge (approximately 13 miles). When completed will run along the banks of Burnett’s Creek and the Wabash River from the Battlefield Park to Fort Ouiatenon Park. Fishing, boating, picnicking and nature observation are all available from different points along the parkway. Wildcat Park - East of I-65 on Eisenhower Road in Lafayette.
